    Description

    This vintage, #1, is 100% Cabernet from Mt Veeder in the Napa Valley. It was aged for 18 months in 100% New French Oak barrel. It has intense oak, new tannins, dark cherry and earth with a hint of tobacco. This wine is big, bond and holds up to the great Cabernets of its region and is ready to drink now, but is bottled to age for 5-10 years before hitting its peak. It's bottle and cork are heavier and denser than a typical bottle to support a long aging and slow renement in the bottle.
