Here is an Avantek UTO-2013A modular MMIC can (TO-8) type amplifier, runs on 12 to 15 VDC.  This amp is spec'd at .5-2.0 GHz but works from .3-2.5 GHz, with 10 dB gain & 100 mW output power (+21 dBm typical) at 15 volts, with a 3.5 dB noise figure, not bad for a broadband power device.  These are easy to use as they have built in DC blocks on the input and output, and a separate bias pin, unlike the MAR type MMIC amps which reqiure the DC be applied on the RF output pin thru a bias decoupling network. Easy to use, can even mount these dead bug style on a scrap of PC board.  Extremely handy as Sig Gen booster amp, as a driver for P.A.'s, buffer amp, even distribution amp for multicoupler!  With data sheet.
