    Description

    An American sterling silver sweet meat basket by made up of cast winged cupid discs with grapes joined together and with applied grape leaves. The center has a larger disc. There is a swing handle and four applied ball feet.
    A fine quality basket in very good condition.
    Weight 17.10 troy oz. Length
    9" by 7" wide. Height without the handle 1 3/4". Marked on the inside of the handle with the maker Ferdinand Fuchs, sterling, 2302 and retailed by Shreve, Crump and Low of Boston. Inscription inside the handle April 24, 1916.
