    Rare Veco 19 100 Series Control Line or Free Flight Gas Model Airplane Engine
    Designed by Mel Anderson, Veco made their first .19 motor in 1955. I believe this motor was produced in 1956 or later, based on the cadmium plated needle valve and the taper fit thrust washer.
    This is a real control line engine, not a converted R/C model. They are sought after by some nostalgia free flight flyers because of their eligibility and good power to weight ratio.
    Some of the nicest Veco hop ups I have seen are done by Bob Beecroft the “AeroSmith”. Bob doesn’t do engine work anymore, but he made some outstanding Veco engines. Have a look here:

    Cosmetics and fits are excellent on this engine; it is free and has great compression. It hands start well hot or cold and is easy to needle. The 9x5 Master Airscrew propeller used for test runs is included with the motor.
