Walston / WMI Radio Tracking system w/ 2 Transmitters, Receiver and Antenna

Up for sale is a Walston / Wildlife Materials Inc radio tracking system. It was originally designed for tracking falcons but Walston made them available for model airplane and rocket flyers. If your model airplane or rocket gets away from you this system will almost assure that you will be able to find it. Using this radio system I was able to find my model over 5 miles away from the point of takeoff. I was even able to find my airplane when it came down in a corn field. The transmitter with fresh batteries will send it's signal for a week. If you can't find the model the first day you could go back the next and keep searching! Included in this system are 2 transmitters on different channels, the TRX-3s Receiver, a 3 pole yagi antenna, connecting cable and a carrying bag. The receiver requires 8 AAA batteries (not included) and each transmitter needs 3 LR-41 (392) button batteries (13 are included). It has been tested and is working like new. Also included is a DVD of the 2000 National Free Flight Championships that includes a segment of Jim Walston giving an in depth demonstration on how to setup and use this tracking system.
